Happy New Year! ヽ(；▽；)ノ

I just want to thank all the people who's encouraged me to keep writing. It looks like I'll be very busy this year, but I'll still try to write whenever I have time. Most of my free time will be dedicated to writing , since its muse comes most easily.

As for fanfics, my priority is still Missing Link. The next entry should've been finished months ago but I hit an unexpected wall. I'm still trying to get past that. My recently published oneshot Ohayou, Mata Ashita is a random muse, but it's also an exercise to get me reacquainted with the characters. I won't even make a list this time because it only works 50% of the time ;_;

I've already written a blip for Fate Lilium fav.me/d4ukiyx, another random muse because the lack of solid context gives me freedom to just write the characters. I'll upload it after I finish Part II :3

Most of my muse for MSMM will be devoted to fanarts. I have a few story ideas that aren't substantial enough to be written, so illustrations it is. I didn't follow the series as it aired, so my love for it really hit me after watching the movies. The many doujins and extra manga are a plus too. The only thing I have planned is the threeshot Scar, the last of my MSMM trilogy but The Different Story has been making things obsolete and I'm sure the Third Movie will too, so maybe I'll get that written after the movie's out Most likely as ghikiJ's next present.

I've been listening to Vocaloid songs over the years, but it's also only now I really got into them because of the PSP games. They've been great inspirations so far, whether for doodles or random blips. The synthetic voices may take time to get used to, if ever, but there are really great covers out there so that's an alternative.

To make a long story short, I was able to go watch Part1 this Friday at Shinjuku (●´∀｀●) … oh the amount of people @_@ even though it's already been a week since the premiere… oh the crowd… admittedly I feel a little claustrophobic at times

Anyways, overall it's an amazing movie  (︶ω︶) starring Sayaka and her heroine Madoka. I personally find the editing well done, the flow was very good and practically seamless, that this compilation movie should be easy for new Madoka watchers to follow. The dialogues seemed different, to make everything more natural (especially between Homura and Madoka's conversations). Watching Madoka on a big screen is, of course, a whole new experience … the OP is just… if only I can keep looping it!! ClariS's Luminous (´∀｀)♡♡ Their other songs on the single, Friends and blossom are also great X3

When QB popped up on the huge screen with just its creepy red eyes and mouth… that frame alone can go in the horror genre. That thing should not be displayed on a movie screen. ∑(O_O；)

Mami-san is as cool as ever（人´∀`*）Tiro Finale on a huge screen is… dazzling and destructively powerful, just as she is. I cried when she got Mami'd even though I've rewatched that part of the episode many times

Kyouko… :3 I'm not going to lie, I cheered when she appeared (✿ ♥////♥). All that heavy chemistry tension between her and Sayaka… >:3 And Sayaka's new transformation sequence, as shown in the trailer, is indeed dokidoki (●´□`)♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

The way they ended the movie was… like a punch in the face though, no other way to describe it. Part 1 ended with Sayaka turning Oktavia. .・゜゜・（／。＼）・゜゜・．  I'm sure even people who's seen the whole series would feel the need to watch Part 2 right away -  I should have expected it, but watching it whole as a movie reopened that wound -hugs Sayaka

Although, that would mean Part2 opens with Kyouko martyring herself… （ｉДｉ）OTL I'm certain there should be new scenes in Part2, otherwise there's no way they could fit TV ep9-12 in 100 minutes. Most likely they've expanded Homura's loop stories… I hope so, TV ep10 felt really condensed to fully appreciate the torment she's gone through, that widening chasm between her and Madoka, as well as the others.

Oh I can't wait to watch Part 2!!!!

Part1:
So, the few notable changes in BGM from the TV are:
Mami-san's battle BGM is none other than Kalafina's "Mirai (Future)" (from their upcoming new single Hikari furu")
The Sayaka vs Kyouko BGM is also different too, and many more.
The biggest change is the Oktavia BGM…it's more melancholic and heart-wrenching, more heart-piercing… The OST is definitely a must-get!

New scenes/plot changes include (unless they were already in TV eps…) :

some more flashback between Sayaka and that guy
no flashback of Walpurgis Night from ep1
As shown in CM, the school's much more…European?
When Mami-san got Mami'd, there was a clear frame of her soul gem destroyed
The aftermath of Mami's death felt even more bone-seeping
Madoka murmuring that even if she got killed by a witch, she deserved it
Madoka asking Homura why she became mahou shoujo
Homura's detailed explanation of the consequences of becoming mahou shoujo
Increased chemistry intensity between Sayaka and Kyouko's battle
Kyouko's transformation really unleashed the fangirl in me…I feel like Aoi Yuuki X3;;;;
New scenes of Homura chasing the trucks (when she's getting Sayaka's soulgem back)
Post Elsa Maria battle, Sayaka slumped in Madoka's arms and muttered "I'm a little tired…"
Before QB was gunshot by Homura, Madoka said she wanted to become mahou shoujo to save Sayaka.

Part2
Even though it's 3am... I can't fall asleep so here I am X3;;; I'm going to be zombified later...well, I'm a little disorientated at the moment but unfortunately not sleepy ):<

@_@ c-crazy line-up as usual… and I was like, one of the few females there… pretty sure there were only 1 or 2 other than me… my friend had to keep a very close eye on me to make sure I don't get lost or squished X3;;;;

So Part2 started off with Sayaka turning witch, basically slugging the audience again before the OP played  (╥_╥)

Then… as expected, new scenes of the battle between Kyouko and Oktavia. Aaaah my whole body hurt just watching Anko-tan bleeding all over the place (ノД`)・゜・。 there was way more blood than before...the poor thing ;;;;___;;;;;;; However, the new scenes before Kyouko martyred herself were beautiful and touching… Part2 is definitely a must-see for Kyouko (SayaKyo) fans!!

Then afterwards, the conversation between Homura and QB is also new - they were at a graveyard… quite chilling.  

However, OTL there weren't any expansions on the Looped Timelines, much to my disappointment… (and many others' I'm sure) When the scenes ended the same way TV's ep10 did, Connect played and there were a few new scenes starring Homura, ending with Madoka and Homura sitting on top of the tower but whyyyy was Homura holding QB!? Exterminate it! Do it now! While there were no new scenes before Madoka becoming Goddess, the battle against Walpurgis was amazing to watch on the huge screen!

So Homura got blasted into the building, and Madoka came to find her right? There was a new bit where Madoka took out a handkerchief and gently wiped away the blood on Homura's face… it's a must see for any MadoHomu fans!! (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡ And when they were floating in space, they were wearing bridal gown-like dresses… very beautiful scene.

Afterwards it was the same as the TV but Connect played again, showing slides of every mahou shoujo's silhouettes. At the end when Homura expanded her wings, Hikari Furu played which suited the scene quite well.

Finally, there was a short preview of Part3. It wasn't really substantial, but it implied that Homura is the protagonist, and there are both Sayaka and Madoka, and there was this glowing sphere floating in the air…I wonder what it is. The preview also implied that someone might snap/darken… personally I think it might be Homura because

"悲しみと憎しみばかりを缲り返す、この救いようのない世界に、あの懐かしい笑颜と再び巡り会う时を梦见る" (Sorrow and Hatred repeat endlessly in this hopeless world, but I still dream about the moment I can see that familiar smile again)

"待たせちゃってゴメンね。今日までずっと顽张ってきたんだよね" (I'm sorry for letting you wait. You've worked so hard even until now)

"Madoka…"

"さあ、行こう。これからはずっと一绪だよ" (Come on, let's go. From now on, we'll be together forever)

Like the title says, I live! :3;;;;;;; Sorry for vanishing without a trace... sorry senpai, Ari-san （；へ：）

My aunt took me on a tour of several cities in southern Japan, including Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Osaka etc.... jam-packed weeks with lots of sightseeing and travelling and sweating off half my body weight and reeling from culture shock and trying to understand certain dialects that left me blinking in incomprehension

Highlights of food include the incredibly heavenly Amao strawberry, the overpriced ootoro, this really bitter matcha at the Kamigamo shrine that's oddly addicting, and the inexplicable phenomenon that my stomach can't seem to agree with any of the coffee I bought I sincerely hope my stomach won't be picky about the coffee in my university... or I'm in serious, serious trouble.   

Other highlights include me getting sea sick but miraculously cured by this traditional medicine my aunt has; a family of Akitas refusing to let me leave my aunt's friend's place and the puppies pretty much piled all over me; seeing a suspicious shadow at the Osaka Tenmangu shrine o(；△；)o ; eating 3 huge crepes in Shibuya and feeling sick afterwards; and the fact my aunt's cat, Chizu-san, kept glaring at me ever since I've moved into the guest room, which was originally her catnap room... at least our relationship has improved to the point that I may pet her once, and if it's after dinner, twice.

D: enough rambling... I'll try to sort out many things the next few weeks then I'll get back to writing （＾ω＾）

well, I'll be leaving my home of 8 years in 24 hrs for the airport and I guess I'm just nervous X3;;; Anyways, just putting something here for now because I'll be spending the next several days to get settled in Japan.

I just want to say I'm quite proud to reach a milestone in the collaboration project and that the K-ON movie has revived my muse. Time seems to be the only thing preventing from writing away, but that should change once I've gotten used to the new pace of life.

Overall, I highly recommend K-on fans to watch the movie. I don't think I'm biased when I say it is amazing. It made me feel warm and fluffy, it made me almost cry at some touching moments, and definitely it made me smile throughout the entire movie. I'm not joking… my lips were quite sore afterwards :3;;;

It's K-on in its full essence, focusing greatly on the bond between the band members, their friendship, what it means to be a band, what HTT means to them, and what Azusa means to them.  

If you feel unhappy about the manga's ending, this movie is definitely the healer. I am not even going to deny this - I've already rewatched the movie twice and still giggled the second time (and caught the subtle details!), and most likely going to rewatch it whenever I could.

I've rewatched the ED Singing! more than ten times... I love it X3

I will be attending university in Japan so it's been hectic the past few weeks to get ready, it's like a blur to me. I'm mentioning this now just in case I don't get to/forget to post another journal before I leave Canada a few weeks :3;;;

There are many moments of the movie I really enjoy, but the following ones definitely stood out the most:

Azusa elbowed Yui, very hard, in the stomach when she thought the brunette was going to glomp her. Then she proceeded to curl up in bed under the blanket after Yui explained she was going to hug Gitah I don't believe you, Yui :33333

Sleepy Azusa trying to find Yui, who was hanging out with Mio, Mugi and Ritsu in the trio's room. Yui left through the conjoined door just before Azusa knocked. The cycle repeats for a few times while the trio watches. It's very cute.

Yui is anxious over performing Tenshi ni Fureta, so during the group huddle she grasped Ritsu's jacket and seeks reassurance. X3 then Mugi said she's so nervous to the point even her hands are cold. Mio felt one and tried to warm it, while Ritsu grabbed the other one to warm it too.

Mugi trying to open the plastic package of layered cake but couldn't, and it was really cute watching her.

Mio acting like an excited child while Ritsu reprimanded like a good parent.

The cast trying to speak english. I know it's bad but I felt really amused… :3;;;;;; especially when Yui kept saying "Ye~su" and Ritsu literally said "I am buchou" in english…

When Mio played Samidare 20 Love…. I was not expecting it. I love that song so much! I got goosebumps :333333

Yui thanking Ui that it's all because of her little sister that she managed to graduate X3

After Yui saw a dove fly overhead, she thought back the moment she joined keionbu, when she heard the song Tsubasa wo Kudasai. She concluded that Azusa was the one who gave them wings. That was why Azunyan was their cute little angel. >83 wow my interpretation/symbolism for a certain NTY chapter was spot on

Everyone got a speaking role, from Love Crisis to Christina to classroom people to Hirasawa mama/papa! I think this is fanservice but Yui was chatting with Himeko while Ritsu talked to Ichigo again.

Overall, I love the subtle moments between Ritsu and Yui, Yui and Mugi, Ritsu and Mio, Ritsu and Mugi, Mugi and Mio, Yui and Mio and, of course, the seniors' affections for Azusa. I feel that this movie's main plot actually isn't about their graduating trip in London, but how Tenshi ni Fureta Yo came to be - their present to Azusa.

I think that's the most I can ramble/fangirl/squee like old times for now... :3 K-on will always live on!
